When my wife and I were expecting our second child we decided to move back to our home town of Trelleborg, after almost ten years in Gothenburg. I moved to Gothenburg to study automation and mechatronics, Z, at Chalmers University of Technology. Choosing Z was easy, it was the only program that centered around building robots! After university, I spent a few fascinating years in the automotive industry at Saab Automobile in Trollhättan. At Saab I got to know Erik, and when he heard that I was looking to move to Skåne it seemed natural to join Combine and be part of their journey. One thing that made the decision easier was that I was having trouble finding companies in Skåne that worked the way I wanted to work. We also realized that there was market potential in simply spreading the automotive industry’s working methods to other industries.
When Erik moved back to Gothenburg, I took over the office in Skåne, a job unlike anything else I had done before. But it was also fascinating and enormous fun, filled with technology in ways that I had never imagined before.
I still live in Trelleborg with our two children and spend my spare time on all the stuff that goes with being a parent of two active children, in other words standing and freezing next to a soccer field, hockey rink or a horse riding arena. My own interests are orienteering, mountain biking and veteran ice hockey. If we are lucky enough to have a weekend free, we try to spend it in the forest or in the country in one way or another.
